Job summary

GRBS is seeking a Lead Custodian to support Ionia Public Schools. This full-time 2nd shift role runs Monday through Friday, 3:00pm–11:30pm, with one weekend per month, totaling 40 hours weekly, in Ionia, MI.

The Lead will supervise and coordinate a cleaning team, execute building cleaning plans, and ensure safety and high standards using GRBS tools. Pay is $16.00 per hour, with benefits available.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older with valid ID.
• Leadership experience required.
• Dependable and reliable transportation to and from work.
• Michigan public schools background restrictions: no theft, violence or drug-related history.

Responsibilities

• Execute the clean building process.
• Finish the job with GRBS tools.
• Complete 360 communication.
• Lead, manage, serve, and hold team members accountable.
• Nightly perimeter door checks.
• Perform cleaning tasks such as mopping, dusting, restrooms, and trash removal.
• Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:00pm–11:30pm; 40 hours per week; 1 weekend per month.
