Qualifications

• Associate degree in laboratory science or equivalent training as defined: 60 semester hours with specified science/chemistry content.
• 3+ years of high complexity clinical testing experience in a clinical laboratory.
• Demonstrated professionalism and leadership skills.
• Demonstrated intermediate level project management skills.
• Demonstrated strong technical skills and professional working knowledge of job industry.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform moderate and highly complex laboratory tests according to SOPs with minimal supervision.
• Perform, review, and document laboratory quality control procedures.
• Identify problems, determine solutions, and maintain high quality in test processes and results.
• Provide leadership and training to laboratory staff as shift senior scientist.
• Oversee procedures development and troubleshooting with supervisors and scientists.
