Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Scientist I to perform moderate and highly complex laboratory analyses in our Madison, WI lab. You will operate, maintain, and troubleshoot essential equipment, document QA/QC procedures, and support a team focused on accuracy and rapid turn-around times.

Shift: Sat - Mon, 6p-6:30a. Requires an associate degree in laboratory science and ability to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in laboratory science or equivalent training.
• Ability to perform moderate to highly complex analytical testing.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights.

Responsibilities

• Perform moderate and highly complex laboratory tests as per SOPs.
• Review, document and perform quality control procedures.
• Operate, maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
• Prepare reagents for testing and ensure inventory sufficiency.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity.
