Qualifications

• Associate degree in laboratory science or equivalent training and experience as defined: 60 semester hours or equivalent includes 24 semester hours of medical laboratory technology or 24 semester hours of science with chemistry/biology credits.
• 3+ years of high complexity clinical testing experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
• Certification/authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform moderate and highly complex laboratory tests according to SOPs with minimal supervision.
• Perform, review, and document quality control procedures.
• Identify and resolve problems to maintain high quality test processes and results.
• Provide leadership as shift senior scientist and mentor laboratory staff.
• Contribute to research, validation, and implementation of new procedures and technologies.
• Ensure compliance with Quality Management System and safety regulations.
