Job summary

Insomnia Cookies is seeking a Shift Leader at our USF store located at 5114 East Fowler Avenue, Tampa, FL 33617. You’ll be the captain of our bakery day or night, delivering outstanding service, baking, and team leadership during your shift.

Lead by example, manage operations, supervise the cookie crew, handle cash deposits, and ensure safety and cleanliness. Must have at least 1 year of customer service experience and be 18+ and eligible to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer service role.
• Experience with POS systems preferred.
• Strong communication and time management abilities.
• Friendly, outgoing, patient demeanor with guests.
• Detail-oriented with results focus.
• Ability to lead by example and motivate others.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and quality products to guests in bakeries.
• Support store leadership by maintaining operations during your shift and coaching team members.
• Prioritize and delegate baking, cashiering, packaging, and cleaning tasks.
• Lead the cookie crew and work with the team to ensure smooth shifts.
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment and follow food-safety practices.
• Manage cash handling and deposits.
