Job summary

AdventHealth in Overland Park, KS is hiring a Registered Nurse for the LDRP Nights unit. The role offers a sign-on bonus of $10,000 for eligible candidates and opportunities to advance through a Clinical Ladder program based on performance and development.

You will assess patients, create and adjust care plans, administer medications, and educate families while working with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality care and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• RN license in appropriate state
• Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's preferred
• 1+ acute care hospital experience preferred
• Must be fluent in English (read, verbal and written)
• BLS certification required

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients considering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and revise as needed
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies
• Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care
