Job summary

MLK Community Healthcare in Los Angeles is seeking a Labor, Delivery, Recovery & Postpartum (LDRP) Clinical Registered Nurse to deliver comprehensive nursing care for labor, delivery, and postpartum patients. You will work under the Clinical Unit Supervisor within Perinatal Services and participate in evidence-based practices aligned with MLKCH’s mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Sciences degree in nursing (BSN) required or must complete degree within 5 years of hire.
• Minimum of one (1) year of clinical nursing experience in Labor and Delivery and Postpartum.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide labor, delivery, recovery & postpartum nursing care to a defined patient group according to age and needs.
• Maintain perinatal evidence-based practices and MLKCH policies.
• Document care plans, assessments, IPOC, and discharge instructions.
