Job summary

MLK Community Healthcare is seeking an LDRP Clinical Registered Nurse to provide skilled nursing care in Labor, Delivery, Recovery & Postpartum. You will support laboring patients, newborn and mother assessments, and collaborate with the care team to implement the care plan while adhering to Baby-Friendly practices.

You must have a CA RN license and 1+ year LDRP experience; BLS/ACLS/NRP preferred. This is an hourly position with pay ranging from $53.91 to $83.57 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience in Labor and Delivery and Postpartum.
• Nursery and/or NICU experience preferred.
• Current California Nursing license.
• Bilingual skills preferred (Spanish).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provides laboring, cesarean, and vaginal birth support and immediate neonatal/mother assessments.
• Maintains SBAR communications in emergencies and routine handoffs.
• Follows Baby-Friendly care practices and hospital policies.
• Documents care: assessment, IPOC, implementation, evaluation, education, discharge.
