Job summary

DCG ONE in Seattle is seeking a Large Format Operator to run and maintain a range of large format printers, including 3.2 meter UV hybrids, flatbeds, and 63-inch roll-to-roll systems. You will follow work orders, troubleshoot basics, and ensure high-quality output in a fast-paced environment.

We value reliability, flexibility, and teamwork, with opportunities to contribute to print media knowledge and support across sales and project management teams. Weekend overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience operating large/ grand format printers.
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, RIPs, and/or workflow software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operates Large Format Printers: EFI Vutek, EFI Q3H XP, Canon, Epson.
• Occasionally operate ancillary Large Format Equipment: Kongsberg, Fotoba, Seal.
• Build and maintain a strong understanding of print media and output techniques.
• Follow work orders precisely.
• Track quantities and versions printed.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance machine routines.
• Inventory and order ink and consumables.
• Communicate print requirements to the Prepress Department.
• Contribute to team workshops and training events.
• Attend and participate in team production meetings.
• Identify and assess quality defects in media and print.
• Follow standard protocols and contribute to development of new internal processes.
• Provide exceptional service and support to the sales and project management teams.
• Handle heavy rolls and rigid sheets of printing media.
