Job summary

Eurofins USA Food Testing seeks a Laboratory Technician I for a full-time night shift (Tuesday–Saturday, 10:00 pm–6:30 am) with additional hours as needed. You will work under the Laboratory Supervisor to perform tests, enter data in eLIMS, and ensure quality and timely results in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a BA degree (or near-term) and eligibility to work in the US; experience in plating and sample prep is preferred.

Qualifications

• BA degree recommended but not required.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
• AS or BS Degree in Microbiology, Food Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry or a related field. Experience in plating, plate reading, and sample preparation.

Responsibilities

• Register incoming samples and maintain accurate records.
• Enter sample data into the Eurofins eLIMS system accurately.
• Perform laboratory testing on incoming samples and meet turnaround targets.
• Verify results and submit to the appropriate personnel.
• Identify non-conformances and report to supervisor, suggesting solutions.
