Job summary

Labcorp in Burlington, NC is seeking a Specimen Processor to join our team. The role is full-time with a Monday–Friday schedule from 11:00pm to 7:30am, supporting accurate handling of specimens and timely data entry in a fast-paced lab setting.

You will unpack, label, and route specimens, maintain quality and proper storage, and help the team meet daily production goals. Prior lab exposure and basic computer skills are valued for this position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3 months or more of specimen processing experience preferred.
• 3 months or more of medical or laboratory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare specimens for analysis and testing.
• Unpack and route specimens to staging areas.
• Identify and label specimens accurately.
• Pack and ship specimens to testing facilities.
• Meet department activity and production goals.
• Data entry of patient information in a timely manner.
• Resolve and document any problem specimens.
