Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Experience in lab, accessioning, production, manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred (1 year).
• Medical or production experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing.
• Unpack and route specimens to staging areas.
• Accurately identify and label specimens.
• Pack and ship specimens to testing facilities.
• Meet department activity and production goals.
• Prepare and store excess specimen samples.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Resolve and document any problem specimens.
