Labcorp in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Specimen Processor I to join our team. Work hours are 3:30pm-12:30am, Monday-Friday with rotating Saturdays, supporting specimen preparation, labeling, routing, and data entry.

The role emphasizes accuracy, organization, and teamwork in a fast-paced laboratory environment, with opportunities to contribute to high-throughput testing and quality control.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1 year or more experience in lab, accessioning, production, manufacturing, or warehouse preferred.

Responsabilités

• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing
• Unpack and route specimens to their respective staging areas
• Accurately identify and label specimens
• Pack and ship specimens to proper testing facilities
• Meet department activity and production goals
• Properly prepare and store excess specimen samples
• Data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Resolve and document any problem specimens
