Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to supervise nursing staff on shift, including weekends and holidays, ensuring quality patient care. The RN will use the nursing process in assessments, planning, and interventions, while collaborating with physicians and other clinicians.

Active RN licensure with BLS is required; ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC may be needed depending on area. The role may include additional duties within the scope of practice.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing required, BSN degree preferred.
• Active RN licensure required, BLS required, ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC may be required depending on area.
• Ability to observe, assess, and record work, safety and infection control standards.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to resolve customer complaints and concerns.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing staff on shift, including weekends and holidays.
• Utilize the nursing process in patient assessments, planning of care, and performance of care interventions.
• Collaborate with Physicians and other healthcare clinicians in the planning and implementation of patient care.
• Additional duties within scope of the role as assigned.
