Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to supervise and coordinate nursing staff on shift, including weekends and holidays, to ensure quality patient care. The RN will use the nursing process in assessments, planning, and care interventions, and will collaborate with physicians and other clinicians.

Additional duties may be assigned within scope. Requirements include a nursing degree, active RN licensure, and BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC may be required depending on area.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree required.
• BSN degree preferred.
• Active RN licensure required; BLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC may be required depending on area.
• Ability to observe, assess, and document patient status; infection control standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing staff on shift, including weekends and holidays.
• Use the nursing process for patient assessment, care planning and interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and other clinicians in planning and delivering patient care.
