Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello, ID is seeking a night-shift Labor & Delivery RN to provide direct care for antepartum, laboring, postpartum mothers and newborns in LD rooms, triage or OR. Nurse-to-patient ratio aligns with AWHONN guidelines.

Qualifications include ADN/BSN, Idaho RN license, BLS within 14 days, NRP, STABLE, ACLS within 1 year, and Fetal Heart Monitoring within 6 months; Preferred: 1 year L&D or related experience. This is a full-time role.

Qualifications

Associate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing program.
Current Idaho RN licensure is required.
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer.
NRP must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
STABLE certification must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
ACLS certification must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
Fetal Heart Monitoring certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care to antepartum, laboring, postpartum mothers and newborns.
Care delivered in LD patient rooms, triage or operating room with 1-2 patients per guidance.
Report to the LD charge nurse and coordinate with all providers and departments.
Prioritize, delegate, deliver, evaluate and communicate care continuously.
