Job summary

Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello, ID is seeking a night-shift, part-time Labor & Delivery RN to provide direct care to antepartum, laboring, and postpartum mothers and newborns in the LD unit.

You will work with the LD team to ensure patient safety, manage care plans, and coordinate care with physicians and support staff. A ADN/BSN and current certifications are required; one year of related experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Idaho is required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire.
• NRP must be obtained within six months of hire.
• STABLE certification within 1 year of hire.
• ACLS certification within 1 year of hire.
• Fetal Heart Monitoring certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to antepartum, laboring, postpartum mothers, and newborns.
• Care occurs in LD patient rooms, triage or operating room with 1-2 patient load per AWHONN guidelines.
• Report to the LD charge nurse and coordinate care with providers and departments.
