Job summary

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license in New Jersey.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• NRP highly preferred.
• BSN strongly preferred or willing to obtain within 3 years of hire.
• 6+ months of nursing experience required; 2–3 years inpatient nursing experience preferred; L&D experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing practices based on evidence-based research and standards of care.
• Communicate ongoing patient status and treatment plans with healthcare team members.
• Administer medications using advanced bar-scanning and documentation technologies.
• Document patient assessments, plans of care, interventions, and evaluations electronically.
• Provide patient and family-centered education to optimize health and wellness.
• Participate in multi-disciplinary discharging of patients for safe transitions.
