Job summary

Sharp HealthCare is seeking a Registered Nurse for Labor & Delivery to assess patients, develop care plans, and coordinate with an interdisciplinary team. The role emphasizes education for patients and families, and supervision of staff as appropriate.

Required qualifications include six months in L&D, California RN license, and AHA BLS/ACLS/NRP certifications. The position is covered by a CNA collective bargaining agreement and includes a night shift (7:00 pm–7:30 am) with every-other weekend

Qualifications

• Six months of experience as a Registered Nurse in a Labor & Delivery Unit.
• Current CA RN license is required.
• AHA BLS, ACLS and NRP certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop an interdisciplinary plan of care.
• Implement and evaluate care interventions for patient populations.
• Educate patients, families, and other health professionals about care plans.
