Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of nursing school.
• 1 Year clinical experience (RNs with less than 12 months experience will complete the new grad requirements).
• California Registered Nurse (RN) - CA Board of Registered Nursing -REQUIRED
• AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare) - REQUIRED
• ACLS Certification (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - REQUIRED
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) - REQUIRED
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - REQUIRED

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect nursing services to patients and families.
• Demonstrates clinical advancement and uses systematic planning to coordinate care.
• Demonstrates clinical judgment and decision making with the nursing process.
• Leads and mentors staff, delegates appropriately, and supports clinical teams.
