Sharp HealthCare in Oceanside, CA, is seeking a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (CN II) for a 12-hour night shift from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. The role requires coordinating a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, patient-centered care and meticulous documentation in the EMR.

Required: California RN license, BLS, ACLS, NRP, with BSN preferred or ADN with 5 years L&D experience; 2+ years in L&D; on-call within 30 minutes; and CNA agreement coverage.

Qualifications

• RN license (CA) required or must be obtained to practice.
• BSN preferred; ADN with 5 years L&D experience acceptable.
• Current BLS, ACLS and NRP certifications required.
• Labor and Delivery experience in a hospital setting preferred.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate interprofessional teams for safe, patient-centered labor and delivery care.
• Document care and interventions in the EMR with accuracy and timeliness.
• Provide education to patients and families about conditions, medications and care plans.
• Serve as a resource and mentor for new graduates and staff as needed.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards per regulations.
