AdventHealth is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN to join our night shift team in Louisville, CO. This role emphasizes comprehensive assessments, individualized care plans, safe medication administration, and strong collaboration with the care team.

The position requires an Associate's in Nursing, BLS, and 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience, with opportunities for salary growth through our Clinical Ladder program. English fluency is essential.

Qualifications

Organizational and multi-tasking skills.
Knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures.
Ability to work as a Team player within a unit.
Effective verbal and oral communication and problem-solving skills.
EKG (based on patient; see document EKG and Advanced Life Support Requirements).
Must be fluent in English (read, verbal and written skills).

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate factors of patients.
Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care.
Administer medications and treatments accurately and monitor for adverse reactions.
Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, and self-care strategies.
Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate and optimize patient care.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient information and outcomes.
