Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a Registered Nurse for Labor & Delivery on a Part-Time Night Shift. The RN will function within an interdisciplinary team to provide individualized, high-quality, safe patient care under nurse leadership and evidence-based guidelines.

The role supports shared governance and professional practice models. The ideal candidate holds an RN license with BLS, demonstrates strong critical thinking, time management and communication skills, and commits to culturally competent care

Qualifications

• Active RN license at hire.
• RN license recognized by MSCP (Multi-state) at hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and BLS Instructor/Provisional as required.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills for a diverse team.
• Demonstrates evidence-based practice and critical thinking in patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform the Nursing Process with evidence-based practice and individualized care.
• Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care respecting culture and diversity.
• Partner with patient and family to set goals and actively plan care.
• Coordinate safe, high-quality care through interdisciplinary communication and documentation.
