Responsibilities

• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being during labor and delivery.
• Manage labor progression and assist with deliveries.
• Respond promptly to obstetric emergencies.
• Administer medications as prescribed.
• Perform cervical exams within scope of practice.
• Interpret fetal monitoring strips accurately.
• Prepare patients for operative deliveries.
• Provide postpartum education and emotional support to patients and families.
• Ensure high standards of patient care in Labor & Delivery and Obstetrics.
