Job Summary

The Registered Nurse in Labor & Delivery is responsible for monitoring maternal and fetal well-being, managing labor progression, assisting with deliveries, and responding promptly to obstetric emergencies. This role involves providing safe, efficient, and compassionate nursing care to mothers and newborns, including medication administration, cervical exams, fetal monitoring interpretation, operative delivery preparation, and postpartum education. Strong clinical judgment, effective communication, and emotional support for patients and families are essential to promote positive birth experiences and optimal outcomes.

Preferred Skills & Certifications

• Experience with operative deliveries and postpartum education.
