Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Laboratory Support Technician (LST II) to join the provider care team. This role supports reports, data, and scheduling for the laboratory, delivering accurate and timely laboratory support and strong customer service aligned with Mercy Signature Service Standards.

The LST II will collect and prepare specimens as required for testing, follow safe and precise procedures, and maintain HIPAA confidentiality while upholding Mercy mission and values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 6 months phlebotomy or clinical laboratory experience or completion of a clinical training program.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate, timely laboratory support for reports, data and scheduling.
• Skillfully acquire specimens required for laboratory testing.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and adhere to lab policies and Mercy Service Standards.
