Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Laboratory Support Technician (LST II) to support reports, data and scheduling for the laboratory while ensuring accurate specimen collection and HIPAA-compliant interactions. You will work with the provider care team to uphold Mercy Signature Service Standards.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 6 months of phlebotomy or clinical laboratory experience, with a shift from 12:00am to 6:00am and occasional weekend/holiday coverage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 6 months phlebotomy or clinical laboratory experience.
• Must complete facility competencies to be eligible for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate, timely laboratory support for reports, data and scheduling.
• Collect specimens using safe, accurate, and professional methods.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and Mercy Service Standards.
