Responsibilities

• Oversee department activities, assign priorities and schedule non-routine procedures.
• Perform supervisory duties including interviewing, hiring and staff development.
• Conduct advanced/specialized tests, reevaluate methods and advise on test interpretation.
• Check/approve all specialized and problem reports for accuracy.
• Initiate quality-control measures and monitor adherence to standards.
• Perform duties of technologist during absences or peak workload.
