Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Reference Test Clerk to join our team in Englewood, CO. Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday, 1:00am–9:30am, with overtime as needed. Responsibilities include preparing specimens, troubleshooting issues, releasing results, and assisting clients with inquiries.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED. Preferred candidates have Labcorp experience and comfort handling biological specimens, with strong communication and detail orientation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Current or prior Labcorp experience is preferred (1 year or more in a medical/clinical lab).
• Comfort handling biological specimens and accurate specimen identification.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to work independently or in a team.
• Able to sit or stand for extended periods and pass a color blindness test.

Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing.
• Research, troubleshoot and resolve customer and specimen problems.
• Send test requests to proper location and release test results.
• Assist clients with specimen-related inquiries and requests.
• Process specimens for transfer to additional facilities.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
