Job summary

Labcorp in Englewood, CO is seeking a dedicated individual to join the Specimen Processing and Accessioning team. This PRN position runs Monday through Sunday, 8:00 PM to 4:30 AM, with responsibilities including specimen preparation, labeling, packing, data entry, and timely documentation.

Minimum qualification is a High School Diploma or GED. Preferred candidates have 1+ year in a lab or healthcare environment and related production experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year or more of experience in a lab or specimen processing.
• 1 year of experience in a healthcare or clinical setting.
• 1 year of experience in an assembly or manufacturing production environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing.
• Unpack and route specimens to their respective staging areas.
• Accurately identify and label specimens.
• Pack and ship specimens to proper testing facilities.
• Meet department activity and production goals.
• Properly prepare and store excess specimen samples.
• Data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Resolve and document any problem specimens.
