Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Inc. Tucker, GA seeks a Lab Assistant (Referral Representative I) for a 1:00 AM–11:30 AM shift Tue/Thu–Sat. Pay starts at $17.75+ per hour with shift differentials and potential bonuses.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years clinical laboratory experience required.
• Preferred: customer service and/or medical background.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve, sort, and process specimens for shipment to referral laboratories.
• Ensure sample quality and accuracy; identify problems with specimen types.
• Prepare specimens and packages for shipment ensuring IATA compliance.
• File departmental documents.
• Handle customer inquiries regarding reporting of results and quality issues.
• Report laboratory results using established protocols.
• Contact clients to resolve routine or medical/technical matters related to patient testing.
