Job summary

Quest Diagnostics in Tampa, FL is seeking a Lab Assistant (Specimen Technician I) on a Monday–Friday night shift, 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM, with rotational weekends.

No experience is required; a HS diploma or equivalent is accepted. Responsibilities include processing specimens, data entry, and preparing samples for analysis. Eligible for shift differential up to 15% and potential annual bonus.

Responsibilities

• Data entry of test orders and specimen-related tasks.
• Presort, pickup and delivery of processed specimens to the laboratory.
• Process specimens for outbound testing to other facilities.
• Prepare laboratory specimens for various analyses and testing.
• Identify problems with specimen types and resolve simple issues.
