Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Tampa, FL is hiring a Lab Assistant (Specimen Technician I) for a night shift, Monday to Friday, 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM, with rotational weekends. You will perform specimen processing, data entry, and prepare samples for analysis.

Responsibilities

• Data entry of test orders and specimen-related data.
• Presort, pickup and delivery of processed specimens to the laboratory.
• Centrifugation and aliquoting of specimens for analysis.
• Prepare laboratory specimens for various analyses and testing.
• Identify problems with specimen information and resolve issues when possible.
