Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Tucker, GA is seeking a Lab Assistant (Referral Representative I) for a Tuesday, Thursday to Saturday 1:00 AM to 11:30 AM shift. Pay starts at $17.75+ per hour with potential shift differentials.

Responsibilities include handling referrals, ensuring specimen quality, preparing shipments, and resolving client inquiries. This role requires 1–2 years of clinical lab experience and strong data-entry and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years clinical laboratory experience.
• Customer service and/or medical background preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Handle internal and external referrals for testing.
• Receive, resolve and follow up with complex customer issues.
• Identify problems with specimens and ensure quality for shipment.
• Prepare specimens for shipment following IATA regulations.
• Communicate test results and respond to client inquiries.
• Maintain a safe and sanitary work area.
• Adhere to CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA requirements.
