Qualifications

• Minimum education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Medical terminology knowledge preferred.
• Basic data entry skills required.

Responsibilities

• Learn duties of Pre-Analytical Assistant I and understand Tech Ops and Specimen Processing workflows.
• Identify problems with specimens, sorting, racking, centrifuging, delivery, and storage; escalate or resolve as needed.
• Comply with test ordering policies and translate information across systems.
• Meet quality and production standards within 6 months of training.
• Complete all required documentation clearly and on time.
• Report to work on time and support the team during coworker absences.
• Learn additional functions to progress to the next level.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
