Job summary

ChristianaCare seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Labor & Delivery team at the Newark Campus on a part‑time 48 hours/pay schedule with a 12‑hour night shift (7PM–7AM). Weekend and holiday commitment and on‑call rotation are required.

Cross‑training in multiple OB specialties is involved, including high‑risk obstetrics. Education requirements include a BSN or commitment to obtain BSN within three years, with two years of acute care L&D experience and Delaware RN licensure.

Qualifications

• BSN required or commitment to obtaining BSN within three years of date of hire.
• Two years of acute care Labor & Delivery experience required.
• Delaware RN licensure or a multistate RN licensure to be eligible to work in the state of Delaware required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high‑quality, patient‑centered care to mothers, newborns, and families.
• Uphold nursing excellence and evidence‑based practice on the Labor & Delivery unit.
• Collaborate with cross‑training in OB specialties to support patient care.
