Job summary

OhioHealth in Dublin, OH seeks a Registered Nurse to provide general nursing care across the continuum in the Labor and Delivery Unit 1 during night shifts. The role emphasizes safety, quality and patient-centered care within a High Reliability Organization.

You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes for mothers and newborns. A BSN, Ohio RN license, and BLS certification are essential.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio and/or current Registered Nurse license in good standing with a multi-state compact state.
• BLS certification must be current.
• BSN degree required after 5 years of employment.
• C-EFM certification at 1 year or more of practice.
• NRP certification.
• Weekend and Holiday rotation required.
• On-Call may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assessment/Diagnosis - Performs initial, ongoing, and functional health status assessment as applicable to the population and or individual (30%).
• Outcomes Identification/Planning - Documents planned nursing interventions to meet outcomes.
• Implementation/Evaluation - Evaluates response to interventions and revises plan as needed.
• Leadership - Participates in process improvement to improve quality and patient care.
• Operations - Supports daily unit operations and safe patient care.
