Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN with active NJ or Compact licensure for a night shift position at a high-volume academic medical center. The role requires 2+ years in Labor & Delivery/Antepartum, expertise in high-risk deliveries, and proficiency with Epic EMR.

The assignment runs for 13 weeks with a 3x12 schedule (6:30 PM–7:30 AM). Local candidates accepted at the same rate, first-time travelers welcome, facility features a Level III NICU.

Qualifications

Active NJ or Compact RN license required.
Certifications ACLS, BLS, NRP, and FHM required.
Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery/Antepartum experience required.
Proficiency in high-risk deliveries, C-section care, and hemorrhage management.
Experience with fetal monitoring, IUPC placement, and neonate care.

Responsibilities

Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours (6:30 PM–7:30 AM).
13-week assignment.
Work across Antepartum, High-Risk Antepartum, LDRP, Mother/Baby, and Level I Nursery.
Unit delivers 200–300+ births per month.
Patient ratios of 1:1–2.
Epic EMR experience required.
Provide comprehensive nursing care across antepartum, labor/delivery, postpartum and newborn care.
