Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Labor and Delivery for night shifts in Livingston, New Jersey. The role covers care for low- and high-risk obstetric patients, prenatal/postpartum management, and facilitating delivery in a multi-unit maternal-child setting.

Candidate must be proficient with the EPIC documentation system and possess strong L&D clinical skills, including postpartum care and newborn education.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Labor & Delivery experience.
• Clinical experience: amnioinfusion, C-sections, NSTs/OCTs, postpartum care.
• Active New Jersey or Compact RN license; pending licenses accepted; current ACLS, BLS, NRP, FHM certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform assessments of expectant mothers and newborns.
• Administer medications and IV therapies as ordered.
• Assist with procedures such as C-sections and fetal monitoring.
• Educate patients on breastfeeding, newborn care, and postpartum recovery.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide holistic care.
• Document care accurately using the EPIC system.
