Wonder is hiring a Shift Supervisor in Lindenhurst to oversee our kitchen operations and ensure top-notch food quality and service for customers. You will lead the restaurant team during opening, prep, and closing duties, and collaborate with the chef leadership team.

The role requires at least 1 year of supervisory experience in a fast-paced restaurant, strong communication, and a professional leadership style. Pay starts at $21.50 per hour, with a $2 premium for overnight hours.

Formación

• At least 1 year of supervisory or team-leading experience in a QSR or full-service restaurant.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and a drive for efficiency and accuracy.
• Professionalism and adherence to policies and procedures.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong team player.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the restaurant team members in all aspects of service, including the opening, prep, and closing duties
• Work with the chef leadership team and other departments to ensure guests receive high-quality service
• Receive and process all kitchen orders and deliveries in line with company protocol
• Maintain communication with staff to ensure stock levels and assist with supplies and ordering
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and hygiene practices across back-of-house areas and schedules
• Monitor kitchen operational costs and ensure budget guidelines are followed
• Ensure kitchen equipment is used safely and in working order
• Conduct relevant briefings with front and back-of-house staff
• Ensure operating and quality standards are met
• Present a professional and ethical leadership style
• Participate in training, coaching, and development for restaurant employees
