Job summary

TEC Services is seeking an Assistant Team Lead in Nazareth, PA to support nightly janitorial operations, ensuring safety and adherence to client standards. This hands-on role coordinates crews, trains staff, and inspects quality while serving as a shift resource.

You may step in for Team Lead in their absence. The position is full-time, non-exempt, with a pay range of $18.00-$19.00 hourly, and requires flexible shifts and travel to stores as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning experience required.
• Prior leadership, trainer, or lead experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work night shifts and travel to assigned store locations as needed.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Team Lead with coordinating nightly sanitation crews.
• Lead by example by working alongside team members and completing cleaning tasks.
• Support Team Lead in assigning daily work and monitoring task completion.
• Provide guidance and assistance to team members throughout the shift.
• Communicate operational concerns to the Team Lead or next level manager.
• Assist with monitoring attendance and timekeeping and report concerns.
