Job summary

Herr Foods Inc. in Nottingham, PA is seeking a detail-oriented Maintenance Parts Attendant to manage spare parts and inventory in our manufacturing facility.

You will ensure tools, parts, and equipment are properly maintained, tracked, and distributed to support production teams. Responsibilities include receiving, inspecting, and storing tools, using ERP to manage inventory, issuing items with proper documentation, cycle counting, and maintaining a safe, organized tool crib.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• 1-3 months of related mechanical experience and/or training.
• Ability to work with latex gloves, airborne seasoning, cardboard dust, cleaning solutions, and hot water.
• Ability to work in a noisy and fast-paced environment.
• Good balance on slippery surfaces.
• Sustain concentration for up to 3 hours at a time.

Responsibilities

• Manage spare parts and tools to support production teams.
• Receive, inspect, and store tools and equipment.
• Use ERP to manage tool and spare part inventory.
• Issue tools and equipment to production staff with proper documentation.
• Cycle count inventory as directed by ERP system.
• Maintain a clean, organized tool crib and follow safety guidelines.
