Job summary

Idlogistics is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Counter to maintain accurate cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies at our Pennsylvania site. You will verify orders, process returns, and ensure proper documentation while upholding food safety and GMP standards.

This role requires strong math skills, experience with inventory systems, and excellent interpersonal communication. A high school diploma or GED is required, with an associate degree preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or one-year related experience in inventory control and/or training; associate degree preferred.
• Knowledge of inventory management procedures and general warehousing terminology and practices.
• Skills in mathematics, Excel and spreadsheets are vital.
• Interpersonal and communication skills are important.
• Accuracy and thoroughness required with great attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform cycle counts daily as assigned.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and determine root cause.
• Pull slow moving or obsolete inventory as requested by the customer for disposal, salvage, or donation.
• Process returned shipments and assess quality of inventory.
• Ensure all proper written documentation is signed off and filed.
• Participate in physical inventories or samplings to ensure inventory integrity.
• Locate products within the system and adjust records to correct discrepancies.
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards according to guidelines.
• Follow GMPs and report noncompliance when observed.
• Observe safety rules and assist in enforcement.
