Job summary

College Medical Center Phoenix is seeking an Intake Behavioral Health Technician to join our clinical support team. You will promptly answer incoming calls, screen clients, and forward information to licensed personnel, while accurately entering pre-admission data into the EMR.

You will handle intake calls and walk-ins, perform rounds in the intake lobby, bathrooms, and patio, and ensure the lobby remains safe at all times.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent required.
• Prior BHT experience in a psychiatric setting highly preferred.
• Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card required.

Responsibilities

• Intake calls and walk-ins are handled and information is forwarded to licensed personnel.
• Accurately enters pre-admission screening information into the EMR system as needed.
• Rounds on patients in the intake lobby, bathrooms, and patio, ensuring the lobby is safe at all times.
• Responds quickly and therapeutically in crisis and emergency situations.
