Job summary

College Medical Center Phoenix is seeking an Intake Registered Nurse for the Night shift to deliver high-quality patient care. You will screen patients for medical considerations, perform comprehensive evaluations, and reconcile medications to guide disposition decisions.

In collaboration with Nursing Administration, you will monitor bed status and coordinate interdisciplinary care with other departments while maintaining strict patient confidentiality and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• RN program completed with ADN or BSN.
• Licensed by the Arizona State Board of Nursing.
• Ability to communicate in English (verbal and written); additional languages preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Screen patients for medical considerations to determine appropriate care and disposition.
• Conduct comprehensive physical evaluations and medication reconciliations.
• Collaborate with Nursing Administration regarding bed status.
• Consult with other departments and agencies to facilitate interdisciplinary care.
• Complete documentation in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
• Uphold patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
