Job summary

Amgen is seeking an Instrumentation Technician - Nights to calibrate, repair and install instruments and control systems at the ARI site. You will handle calibration for process, utility and analytical equipment and troubleshoot complex issues.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to work a 12-hour night shift (7PM–7AM) on a rotating schedule with a 15% shift differential. On-site operations and a focus on safety are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1 year instrumentation/calibration work or military experience.
• Associates degree preferred or equivalent instrumentation training.

Responsibilities

• Perform instrument calibrations for process, utility, and analytical equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair instrumentation and control system issues.
• Conduct advanced maintenance on equipment in manufacturing, labs, or analytical spaces.
• Adhere to safety and procedures; ensure accurate work order documentation.
• Communicate effectively with operators and stakeholders; participate in process improvements.
