Job summary

Amgen is hiring an Instrumentation Technician - Nights in the United States. You will perform calibration, repair and installation of instruments and process control systems at the ARI site, with a 12-hour night shift (7PM–7AM) on a rotating schedule and a 15% shift differential.

Onboarding follows a 2–6 week admin phase, with opportunities to learn and grow. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED with 1 year of instrumentation/calibration experience or an associate’s degree,

Qualifications

• Strong communicator with the ability to work with peers/teams.
• High school diploma / GED with 1 year instrumentation/calibration experience or military experience.
• Associates degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform instrument calibrations for process, utility and analytical equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair site instrumentation and control system issues.
• Perform advanced maintenance and repair on equipment in Manufacturing, Process Develop Laboratory or Analytical Laboratory.
• Ensure work is performed safely and in accordance with procedures.
• Document work orders accurately and communicate results to operators and stakeholders.
• Identify waste and process improvements and assist implementation.
• Provide guidance and learn new skills to improve team performance.
