Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis County seeks a Team Lead Charge Nurse for the night shift on our Neuro unit. The role directs a 24-bed unit, provides direct patient care when needed, and acts as a clinical resource to nursing and support staff.

Under the direction of the manager, you will plan, direct, and coordinate unit activities, lead care plans, and promote evidence-based practice while supporting community health initiatives and staff development.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree.
• RN license required.
• 2-5 years of nursing experience.
• Preferred Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Supervisor experience: none.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates identification and resolution of gaps in care from hospitalization to discharge and into ambulatory care.
• Leads the development and implementation of complex care plans with goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team and patient/family.
• Engages in evidence-based practice, supports practice change, and disseminates new knowledge.
• Advances nursing practice by supporting community service events and education.
• Evaluates patient and family experience to improve satisfaction and outcomes.
