Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Fort Worth is seeking a Registered Nurse for Telemetry/ICU duties on the night shift (7pm–7am) in a 16-bed small-format hospital. The RN will assess, plan, direct and evaluate patient care, ensuring safety and comfort while following physician orders.

Responsibilities include infection control, specimen collection, admissions/discharges, and coordinating with the care team; requires current TX RN license, 2+ years ICU/Telemetry experience, BLS/ACLS, and English

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred.
• Current state RN licensure without sanctions.
• 2+ years RN Telemetry/ICU or related healthcare experience.
• BLS and ACLS required; PALS preferred.
• English fluency in written and spoken form.
• PA Act 33/Act 73 clearances or equivalent to start.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize, and provide age-specific nursing care with advanced clinical knowledge.
• Follow physician's orders in delivery of nursing care.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality of information and records.
• Adhere to infection control, isolation procedures and aseptic techniques.
• Collect laboratory samples and perform tests per policies and CLIA regulations.
• Manage admissions, discharges and transfers.
• Assemble equipment and supplies for procedures in the specialty area.
• Comply with state nursing practice standards.
