Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or diploma in nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Current state RN licensure without sanctions required.
• 2+ years RN experience in Telemetry/ICU or related healthcare positions.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide age-appropriate nursing care per physician orders.
• Follow physician orders in delivery of nursing care.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality of information.
• Adhere to infection control and aseptic techniques.
• Collect laboratory samples and perform testing per policies and CLIA.
• Perform admissions, discharges and transfers.
• Assemble equipment and assist with procedures.
• Adhere to state nursing practice standards.
